An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Windsor. Third ranked Windsor Express faced 4th placed Titans. Host Windsor Express (2-3) defeated guests from Kitchener (1-6) 99-87. Worth to mention a great performance of Mexican point guard Chris Jones (182-91, college: Louisville, agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American center Derrick Nix (203-90, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Akeem Ellis (198-90, college: Coppin St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Jon Harris (201-92, college: Cleveland St., agency: Interperformances) added 23 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Titans. Five Windsor Express and four Titans players scored in double figures. Windsor Express maintains third place with 2-3 record having six points less than leader Moncton M. Titans lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Halifax H.. Windsor Express will play against league's second-placed The Storm in Charlottetown in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Titans will play on the road against the league's second-placed Sudbury F. in Greater Sudbury and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
