Important game to mention about took place in Olavarria. Fourth ranked Racing (10-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging top-ranked Estudiantes O. (12-4) 80-78 on Friday evening. Matias Aristu (194-95) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Santiago Barrales (189-98) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Racing players scored in double figures. Racing's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Agustin Brocal (191-97) with 23 points and 4 assists and center Ignacio Galardo (207-97) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Racing moved-up to third place in Liga Argentina. Estudiantes O. at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Racing will play against Progreso (#6) in General Roca in the next round. Estudiantes O. will play on the road against Villa Mitre (#5) in Bahia Blanca and hopes to get back on the winning track.
