The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked Heat (27-11) in Brooklyn on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Nets (17-20) 117-113. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Heat. They outrebounded Heat 51-40 including 37 on the defensive glass. Nets looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was a great evening for guard Spencer Dinwiddie (198-93, college: Colorado) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 assists. Forward Taurean Prince (201-94, college: Baylor) helped adding 17 points and 4 assists. Nets' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nets maintains fourth place with 17-20 record. Heat at the other side still keeps top position with 11 games lost. They share it with LA Clippers.
