Regular Season Round 15: Sonik Puntamika - Osijek 68-84

There was no surprise in Zadar where 9th ranked Borik Puntamika (5-10) was defeated by fifth ranked KK Vrijednosnice Osijek (9-6) 84-68. It was a good game for guard Antonio Jordano (191-99, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led his team to a victory with 21 points. Point guard Lovre Basic (190-95, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five KK Vrijednosnice Osijek players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Sime Spralja (206-83) answered with 17 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Petar Maric (196-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Borik Puntamika. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KK Vrijednosnice Osijek maintains fifth place with 9-6 record. Newly promoted Borik Puntamika keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. KK Vrijednosnice Osijek will play against Dubrava (#10) in Zagreb in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Borik Puntamika will play on the road against Gorica in Velika Gorica and hopes to get back on the winning track.
