Regular Season Round 19: Mulhouse - Orchies 85-86

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Mulhouse's (8-11) home loss to ninth ranked Orchesien BC (10-9) 85-86 on Friday. It was a very good performance for Lithuanian forward Justas Sinica (203-85) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Congolese center Valentin Mukuna (208-93) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Central African power forward Johan Grebongo (204-94) answered with 26 points and 9 rebounds and Guinean center David Conde (202-92) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Mulhouse. Five Orchesien BC and four Mulhouse players scored in double figures. Mulhouse's coach Jean-Luc Monschau tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Orchesien BC moved-up to eighth place in Group B. Newly promoted Mulhouse keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. Orchesien BC will face higher ranked Andrezieux (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mulhouse will play against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
