Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Scrivia (9-6) rolled over at home 8th ranked San Martino (7-8) 70-47 on Saturday. Scrivia forced 20 San Martino turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by San Martino's players. Quite impressive performance for power forward Cecilia Albano (183-96) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Ilaria Bonvecchio (175-94) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Scrivia players scored in double figures. Point guard Alice Peserico (170-2) replied with 8 points and 8 rebounds and forward Martina Rosignoli (176-1) added 9 points in the effort for San Martino. San Martino's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Scrivia maintains sixth position in A2 with 9-6 record. Loser San Martino keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Scrivia will face Marghera (#15) in Venezia in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
