There was a minor upset in Bydgoszcz where 11th ranked BM Slam Stal (6-10) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Enea Astoria (6-10) 95-78 on Saturday. Enea Astoria dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to BM Slam Stal's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international swingman Michal Chylinski (196-86, agency: Interperformances) fired 19 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Adam Kemp (208-90, college: Marist) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international guard Daniel Szymkiewicz (193-94) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Paulius Dambrauskas (195-91, agency: Players Group) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four BM Slam Stal players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Enea Astoria moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with GTK Gliwice and BM Slam Stal. Enea Astoria will have a break next round.
