Regular Season Round 15: Mollet - Sant Adria 82-70

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both second ranked Mollet and 4th placed Sant Adria had identical 9-4 record. This time Mollet used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Sant Adria 82-70 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was center Angel Soto (205-90) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Bernat Alvarez (176-95) chipped in 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Jonel Palou who recorded 20 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and center Oscar Amo (205-97) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mollet maintains second place in Group C-B with 10-4 record behind leader Lliria, which they share with Cornella. Loser Sant Adria keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Mollet will face Cornella (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sant Adria will play against Mataro Feimat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
