A very interesting game took place in Santiago de Comp. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 14th ranked Blusens Monbus (7-10) to eleventh ranked Burgos (9-8) 76-73 on Saturday evening. American-Georgian guard Thaddus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St.) nailed 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American Earl Clark (208-88, college: Louisville, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 11 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Mike Daum (206-95, college: S.Dakota St.) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Slovakian forward Vladimir Brodziansky (210-94, college: TCU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Blusens Monbus in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Blusens Monbus' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Burgos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Blusens Monbus at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Burgos' next round opponent will be Joventut (#11) in Badalona which should be theoretically an easy game. Blusens Monbus will play on the road against Andorra and hope to win that game.
