Regular Season Round 15: Novaschool - Cazorla 92-58

Rather predictable result in Malaga where third ranked Novaschool (8-4) outscored 7th ranked Cazorla (4-9) 92-58 on Saturday. Novaschool dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Cazorla's 40. Novaschool forced 22 Cazorla turnovers and outrebounded them 46-31 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was center Chema Del-Rio (203-91) who scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Center Anastasio Vazquez (204-92) chipped in 5 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists. Novaschool's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was David Garcia who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds and center Pedro Romera (210-88) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Novaschool maintains third place in Group D-A with 8-4 record having four points less than leader Lliria. Loser Cazorla keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Novaschool will face league's second-placed Andujar on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cazorla will play against Almeria (#4) and hope to win that game.
