Rather predictable result in Boston where first ranked Celtics (26-11) smashed 5th ranked Pelicans (13-27) 140-105 on Saturday. Celtics dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Pelicans' 52 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Celtics had a 43-28 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jayson Tatum (203-98, college: Duke) who helped to win the game recording 41 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Turkish center Enes Kanter (211-92, college: Kentucky) who added 22 points and 19 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Celtics' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Guard Lonzo Ball (198-97, college: UCLA) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Frank Jackson (191-98, college: Duke) scored 22 points. Five Celtics and four Pelicans players scored in double figures. Celtics maintains first position with 26-11 record. Loser Pelicans keep the fifth place with 27 games lost.
