We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked JAC Sants (6-8) edged on the road 9th ranked Valls Nutrion (7-7) 72-69 on Saturday. Strangely Valls Nutrion outrebounded JAC Sants 44-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Ferran Mas (193-97) who scored 13 points. Point guard Sergi Tell (188-0) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Victor Vinos (193-97) who recorded 25 points and 9 rebounds and Sergi Domenech added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for JAC Sants. They maintain tenth place in Group C-B with 6-8 record. Loser Valls Nutrion keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. JAC Sants will face higher ranked Castelldefels (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
