Rather predictable result in Salamanca where eighth ranked La Antigua (5-7) outscored 12th ranked Leon (3-9) 92-56 on Saturday. La Antigua forced 23 Leon turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when La Antigua made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was Bosnian Sandro Gacic (201-96) who scored 23 points. Serbian center Miroslav Jaksic (211-95, college: Oklah.Christian) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four La Antigua players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Swedish forward Musa Jeng (202-99) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Belgian forward Robbe Janssens (190-0) added 9 points respectively.
