No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Tabirako (7-7) defeated on the road 14th ranked Goierri (3-11) 77-71 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was center Xabier Arrotajauregi (-97) who scored 21 points. Guard Miguel Zamora (189-93) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Tabirako players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jon Igartua (184-97) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Luka Lasa (194-94) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Goierri's coach Xabier Chico tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Tabirako moved-up to seventh place in Group A-A, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Goierri keeps the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. Tabirako will face league's leader Pas Pielagos in Renedo de Pielagos in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
