Regular Season Round 16: MKS DG 2 - UR Krakow 112-68

No shocking result in a game in Dabrowa Gornicza where third ranked MKS DG 2 (11-4) smashed 7th ranked UR Krakow (6-9) 112-68 on Saturday. MKS DG 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by UR Krakow's players. Point guard Patryk Wieczorek (188-96) fired 26 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Forward Konrad Dawdo (198-99) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four MKS DG 2 players scored in double figures. Center Michal Kalinski (204-80) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and power forward Tomasz Palmowski (199-97) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. MKS DG 2 maintains third position in Group C with 11-4 record having just one point less than leader Dziki Wwa. Newly promoted UR Krakow keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. MKS DG 2 will face Polonia Bytom (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. UR Krakow will play against AZS AWF Mick. (#4) and hope to win that game.
