Very important is a home loss of third ranked Zaragoza (12-5) against fourth ranked CB Canarias (11-6) on Saturday night. Host Zaragoza was defeated by CB Canarias in Zaragoza 111-99. CB Canarias shot 60.6 percent from the field and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Argentinian forward Nicolas Brussino (202-93) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Zaragoza. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CB Canarias maintains fourth place with 11-6 record. Zaragoza at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. CB Canarias will play against Movil Estudiantes (#17) in Madrid in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Zaragoza will play at home against Gran Canaria (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
