Rather predictable result in Gilet where fourth ranked Castello II (10-3) beat 8th ranked Puerto Sagunto (1-12) 69-63 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was forward Unai Lacalle (198-91) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Victor Rodriguez (201-0) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Cuban center Jonathan Merencio (204-94) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and swingman Carlos Sales (194-98) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four Puerto Sagunto players scored in double figures. Puerto Sagunto's coach Christian Crudeli let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Castello II. They moved-up to second place in Group E-A. Puerto Sagunto lost their eleventh game in a row.
