Regular Season Round 18: Le Portel - Dijon 44-65

Very expected game when 17th ranked Le Portel (3-13) was smashed at home by third ranked Dijon (14-3) 65-44 on Saturday. Dijon dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Le Portel's 20. Dijon forced 26 Le Portel turnovers. It was a good game for forward Tom Hyenne (196-0) who led his team to a victory with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Robin Ducote (193-1) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Cameroonian power forward Edgar Wansi-Fonkua (203-0) replied with 8 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Nicolas Girondin (180-1) added 7 points in the effort for Le Portel. Le Portel's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Dijon moved-up to second place, which they share with Bourg. Le Portel lost seventh consecutive game.
