The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ockelbo as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. Ockelbo defeated 7th ranked Lulea S. at home 84-72. Ockelbo forced 20 Lulea S. turnovers. It was a good game for American forward Jordan Stotts (203-93, college: Sioux Falls, agency: Whitecox Lyons SM) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Edvin Stark (185-99) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Stotts is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Ockelbo players scored in double figures. Ockelbo's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard William Eriksson-Hansson (185-98) replied with 21 points and New Zealand forward Dion Collins (203, college: Culver Stockton) added 13 points in the effort for Lulea S.Ockelbo (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Lulea S. at the other side dropped to the eighth place with eight games lost. Lulea S. will play next round against Alvik 2 trying to get back on the winning streak. Ockelbo will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Jarfalla on the road.
