Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Tobarra (6-9) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Zentro Basket (9-5) 85-73 on Saturday. Zentro Basket outrebounded Tobarra 40-27 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Erik Persson (190-0, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who scored 22 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Pedro Garcia (202-98) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Four Zentro Basket players scored in double figures. Zentro Basket's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Miguel Raez (200-79) who recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Czech power forward Jakub Kasa (203-92) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Zentro Basket moved-up to fifth place in Group B. Newly promoted Tobarra dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Zentro Basket's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Madrid to the arena Real Madrid II.
