No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Tenerife Naut. (7-7) smashed on the road 14th ranked Pozuelo (4-11) 76-57 on Saturday. Tenerife Naut. made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game, while Pozuelo only scored four points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was point guard Alberto Cabrera (178-98) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Montenegrin forward Danilo Brnovic (200-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). At the other side the best for losing team was forward Alberto Canal (194-98) who recorded 10 points and Jose Garcia added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tenerife Naut. moved-up to eighth place in Group B. Pozuelo lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. Tenerife Naut. will face Estudiantes B (#9) in Madrid in the next round. Pozuelo will play on the road against Aguimes (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
