Very predictable result when fourth ranked Peristeri GS (10-5) won against 10th ranked Rethymno (6-9) in Athens 71-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Peristeri GS. Rethymno managed to win second period 21-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for American Steven Gray (196-89, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Angolan center Yanick Moreira (211-91, college: SMU, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 9 points for the winning side.
