It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Cairns Taipans. Kings will play against Melbourne Phoenix (#7) in Melbourne, Victoria in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cairns Taipans will play at home against Adelaide 36ers (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
