There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Sarcedo (7-8) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Albino (7-8) 63-47 on Saturday. Albino held Sarcedo to an opponent 24.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Quite impressive performance for Polish forward Klaudia Grudzien (184-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Alice Mandelli (172-93) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Silvia Viviani (168-1) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Federica Iannucci (172-93) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sarcedo. Sarcedo's coach gave the chance to play for ten players seeing no chance for a win. Albino moved-up to tenth place in A2. Albino will face league's leader Moncalieri on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sarcedo will play against Mantova (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
