The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Athens: Eleutheria M. (#2) and Sporting (#5). Eleutheria M. (9-3) won against visiting Sporting (6-6) 69-64. The best player for the winners was American forward KeShunan James (184-94, college: Murray St.) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. International point guard Dionysia Alexandri (165-89) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Taya Reimer (193-95, college: Michigan St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 blocks and her fellow American import power forward Stephanie Kostowicz (188-95, college: Milwaukee, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Eleutheria M. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-3 record having just three points less than leader Olympiacos, which they share with Chania. Eleutheria M. is looking forward to face Niki Lefkadas (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
