Undefeated leader Kongsberg delivered the eighteenth consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Tromso (8-12) 95-70. Kongsberg shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (187-91, college: Barry) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. The former international guard Nikolas Skouen (190-90, college: Pepperdine, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 26 points and 4 assists. Four Kongsberg players scored in double figures. American forward Cam Gregory (203-95, college: Loyola, MD) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds and Bahamas forward Kevin Altidor (196-90, college: Young Harris) added 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kongsberg (18-0) have an impressive 18-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 18 victories in a row. Tromso lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost. Kongsberg are looking forward to face Froya Basket (#4) in Laksevag in the next round. Tromso will have a break next round.
