Regular Season Round 14: Artego Bydg. - Wisla Krakow 76-69

Very expected game when 6th ranked Wisla Krakow (7-6) lost to second ranked Artego Bydg. (11-3) in Bydgoszcz 69-76 on Sunday. Artego Bydg. made 19-of-19 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. American guard Brianna Kiesel (170-93, college: Pittsburgh) notched 32 points (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and Lithuanian power forward Laura Miskiniene-Svaryte (190-92) supported her with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 14 points and 9 assists by American point guard Chloe Wells (173-92, college: Duke) did not help to save the game for Wisla Krakow. Forward Anna Jakubiuk (182-94) added 16 points for the guests. Five Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Artego Bydg. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record having just one point less than leader Arka Gdynia. Wisla Krakow at the other side dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. Artego Bydg. will meet Sleza Wroclaw (#6) on the road in the next round. Wisla Krakow will play against Katarzynki and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
