The game in Szczecin was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Trefl (10-6) played at the court of eighth ranked Wilki Morskie (8-8). Wilki Morskie managed to secure a 6-point victory 76-70 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Trefl. Wilki Morskie made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Dustin Ware (183-90, college: Georgia, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and forward Cleveland Melvin (203-91, college: DePaul) who added 10 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Wilki Morskie players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Nana Foulland (208-95, college: Bucknell) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Carlos Medlock (183-87, college: EMU) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Wilki Morskie moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Radom. Loser Trefl dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Asseco Arka. Wilki Morskie will meet at home GTK (#13) in the next round where they are favorite. Trefl will play against Asseco Arka (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
