Regular Season Round 15: Ardoi - Valle de Egues 84-65

Everything went according to plan in Zizur Mayor where seventh ranked Ardoi (8-6) outleveled 12th ranked Valle de Egues (5-9) 84-65 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Pope Urtasun (187-80) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Five Ardoi players scored in double figures. Ardoi's coach Juancho Ferreira used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivorian power forward Kouassi Konan (203-91) who recorded 19 points and 6 rebounds and Argentinian-Italian guard Federico Villagra (187-90) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Ardoi moved-up to fifth place in Group A-A, which they share with Arha Hoteles. Valle de Egues lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. Ardoi will face higher ranked Mondragon (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
