The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Seagulls (22-4) on the court of ninth ranked Lahti on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Lahti 95-82. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Seagulls. The game was mostly controlled by Lahti. Seagulls managed to win fourth quarter 26-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. Lahti outrebounded Seagulls 34-20 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Courtney Stockard (196-95, college: St.Bonaventure) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Devante Wallace (196-92, college: High Point) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Five Lahti players scored in double figures. Guard Elijah Stewart (196-95, college: USC) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Richard Williams (178-87, college: San Diego St., agency: HMS) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Seagulls' coach Jussi Laakso rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Lahti maintains ninth position with 9-17 record. Seagulls at the other side still keeps top place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
