Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Tezenis VER (9-8) won against on the road 11th ranked Roseto Sharks (6-11) 84-76 on Sunday. The former international power forward Francesco Candussi (211-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Guido Rosselli (198-83) contributed with 7 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Serbian Lazar Nikolic (202-99, college: Colorado, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 18 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Cameroonian power forward Philippe Bayehe (204-99) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Roseto Sharks. Four Roseto Sharks players scored in double figures. Roseto Sharks' coach Germano D'Arcangeli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tezenis VER moved-up to sixth place in A2. Loser Roseto Sharks dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Tezenis VER will face Orzinuovi (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Roseto Sharks will play against San Severo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
