Serie B round 16 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader Fabriano (13-3) against fourteenth ranked Ancona (5-11) 82-73 was the most important game of the last round. Ancona dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Fabriano's 22.
