Important game to mention about took place in Opole. Thirteenth ranked AZS PO (5-10) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked Miasto Szkla (8-7) 104-101 on Sunday evening. AZS PO players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Miasto Szkla was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Adam Kaczmarzyk (198-88) stepped up and scored 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and point guard Adam Skiba (180-99) chipped in 20 points and 8 assists. Five AZS PO players scored in double figures. Guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists and forward Alan Czujkowski (199-90, agency: Promotex) scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. AZS PO moved-up to twelfth place. Miasto Szkla at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. AZS PO will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Miasto Szkla will play at home against the league's second-placed WKK Wroclaw (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
