Nets dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Hawks' 40. They outrebounded Hawks 62-33 including a 55-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nets looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Australian-American guard Kyrie Irving (190-92, college: Duke) who scored 21 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Jarrett Allen (211-98, college: Texas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Nets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Cam Reddish (203-99, college: Duke) who recorded 20 points and 5 steals and forward DeAndre Bembry (198-94, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Pensack Sports) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nets maintains fourth place with 18-20 record. Hawks lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 32 games lost.
