Very predictable result when first ranked Puente Alto (16-6) smashed at home 6th ranked AB Ancud (8-11) 108-69 on Sunday. Puente Alto looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by AB Ancud's players. American-Nigerien swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-94, college: UCF) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Argentinian forward Nicholas Wadell (201-89) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Puente Alto players scored in double figures. Argentinian Lisandro Rasio (198-90) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Travion Leonard (205-93, college: Barry) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Puente Alto. They maintain first place with 16-6 record. Loser AB Ancud keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Puente Alto will face league's second-placed Deportivo Valdivia on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AB Ancud will play against the league's leader Las Animas (#1) and hope to win that game.
