There was no surprise when 11th ranked Al Kahraba (1-7) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Zakho (4-5) 73-65 on Monday. Zakho held Al Kahraba to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Mohammed Zewki stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and center Mohammed Hussein (195-1) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Hussein Al-Hayali with 30 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Malik Nahi (210-88) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Zakho moved-up to sixth place. Loser Al Kahraba keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. Zakho will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
