Top ranked Celtics (27-12) recorded its twelfth loss in Boston on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Pistons (15-26) 116-103. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Celtics. Pistons shot 60.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was center Andre Drummond (208-93, college: UConn) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Guard Derrick Rose (190-88, college: Memphis) chipped in 22 points and 6 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Five Pistons players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jaylen Brown (201-96, college: California) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Gordon Hayward (203-90, college: Butler) added 25 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pistons maintains third position with 15-26 record having ten points less than leader Milwaukee B., which they share with Sacramento K. Celtics at the other side still keep top place with 12 games lost. Pistons will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Celtics will play on the road against the league's leader Bucks in Milwaukee and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
