An exciting game was played in Miami. First ranked Heat faced 4th ranked Spurs. Host Heat (28-12) defeated guests from San Antonio (17-22) 106-100. Heat looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Kendrick Nunn (190-95, college: Oakland, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) who recorded 30 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and Australian point guard Patrick Mills (183-88, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 21 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Spurs' coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Heat maintains first position with 28-12 record, which they share with LA Clippers. Loser Spurs keep the fourth place with 22 games lost.
