Very important is a road loss of second ranked Jazz (27-14) against fifth ranked Pelicans (15-27) on Thursday night. Visiting Jazz was defeated by Pelicans in a tough game in New Orleans 132-138. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Jazz. Pelicans looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pelicans made 9 blocks. Guard Donovan Mitchell (190-96, college: Louisville) came up with 46 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and French center Rudy Gobert (216-92) added 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Jazz in the defeat. Four Jazz players scored in double figures. Jazz's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pelicans moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Chicago B.
