The most crucial game of the last day was another loss of Celtics (27-13) in Milwaukee on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Bucks (37-6) 128-123. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Bucks looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Celtics helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Greek-Nigerian swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Kemba Walker (185-90, college: UConn) answered with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and guard Marcus Smart (193-94, college: Oklahoma St.) added 24 points (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Celtics. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bucks have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 37-6 record which they share with defeated Celtics. Celtics at the other side still keep top position with 13 games lost.
