Regular Season Round 16: Mahram - Kerman 80-58

No shocking result in a game in Tehran where fourth ranked Mahram (12-4) smashed 11th ranked Kerman (4-11) 80-58 on Thursday. Mahram forced 19 Kerman turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international point guard Farid Aslani (183-88) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 assists for the winners. The former international power forward Amirhossein Khandanpour (203-98) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Mahram players scored in double figures. Center Mehdi Jafari (204-96) produced 5 points and 9 rebounds and Reza Azarshah added 13 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mahram moved-up to third place, which they share with Naft Abadan. Kerman at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Mahram will face Toufarghan (#10) in Azarshahr in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kerman will play on the road against Naft Abadan and hope to win that game.
