Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked M.Haifa and 9th ranked Bnot Hertzeliya had identical 4-8 record. But Bnot Hertzeliya was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from 70-62 on Thursday night. International point guard May Dayan (170-94, college: Temple) produced 21 points and American guard Rebekah Gardner (185-90, college: UCLA) added 9 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. M.Haifa (5-8) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Raanana. Bnot Hertzeliya at the other side keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. M.Haifa will meet at home higher ranked Ramat Hasharon (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#5) and hope to secure a win.
