Very significant was Heat's (#1, 29-12) victory against 3rd ranked Thunder (23-19) 115-108. Heat made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) chipped in 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Italian Danilo Gallinari (208-88) responded with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and German-Gambian point guard Dennis Schroeder (181-93) scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Thunder's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Heat maintains first position with 29-12 record, which they share with LA Clippers. Loser Thunder keeps the third place with 19 games lost. Heat will have a break next day. Thunder will play at home against Trail Blazers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
