Everything went according to plan when tenth ranked Caceres Basket (9-9) defeated on the road 13th ranked Magia Huesca (7-11) 94-83 on Friday. Point guard Ricardo Uriz (188-80) notched 19 points to lead the effort and American center Arkeem Joseph (206-94, college: Texas A&M Int.) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Even 17 points and 7 rebounds by Croatian forward David Skara (203-95, college: Clemson) did not help to save the game for Magia Huesca. Lithuanian center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood, agency: HMS) added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Magia Huesca players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Caceres Basket moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ourense. Magia Huesca lost third consecutive game. Loser Magia Huesca dropped to the twelfth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Castello. Caceres Basket will meet at home bottom-ranked Marin (#18) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Magia Huesca will play against CB Granada (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
