Fifth-ranked Timberwolves (15-26) gave a tough game to second ranked Pacers (27-15) in Indianapolis. Pacers managed to secure only two-point victory 116-114. However their fans expected easier game. Pacers dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Timberwolves' 46 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Pacers players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Forward TJ Warren (203-93, college: NC State) notched 28 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Jeremy Lamb (196-92, college: UConn) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Pacers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
