Regular Season Round 8: Sudbury F. - KW Titans 122-114

An interesting game for Sudbury F. (4-4) which hosted in Greater Sudbury one of their biggest challengers Titans (2-8). Second ranked Sudbury F. managed to get a 8-point victory 122-114. Sudbury F. looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Titans' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sudbury F. made 8 blocks. American point guard Braylon Rayson (175-94, college: Cent Michigan) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import forward Marlon Johnson (208-94, college: N.Mexico Highlands) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Akeem Ellis (198-90, college: Coppin St.) replied with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Jamaican-American Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) added 24 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Titans. Five Sudbury F. and four Titans players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Sudbury F. went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with St.John's E. Titans lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost. Sudbury F. will face St.John's E. (#3) in St. John's in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
