Very expected game when 15th ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (4-13) was smashed by ninth ranked Slask (8-9) in Wroclaw 106-84 on Friday. Slask dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to MKS Dabrowa Gornicza's 30. The former international forward Mathieu Wojciechowski (203-92) nailed 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international point guard Kamil Laczynski (183-89, agency: Alti Sport) accounted for 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 32 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Austrian-American forward Bryce Douvier (201-91, college: Texas A&M-CC) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slask moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Spojnia and Radom. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza lost their tenth game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Legia. Slask will meet higher ranked Wilki Morskie (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play against Start (#4) and hope to secure a win.
