9th ranked Grindavik (5-9) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Haukar (8-6) with the biggest margin this round 88-73. The game was mostly controlled by Haukar. Grindavik was better in third quarter 20-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Haukar's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Fjolnir (#12) in Reykjavik and are hoping to win another game. Grindavik will play on the road against Njardvik and hope to win that game.
