Regular Season Round 10: Tsmoki-Minsk - Dynamo NR 73-89

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Belarusian Tsmoki-Minsk (6-1) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Russian Dynamo NR (6-1) 89-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tsmoki-Minsk. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-73. Dynamo NR shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian Jamie Weisner-Scott (178-94, college: Oregon St., agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of her seven free throws). Guard Olga Vorobyeva (182-87, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Center Viktoryia Hasper (192-88) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Rachel Theriot (183-94, college: Nebraska) added 14 points in the effort for Tsmoki-Minsk. Five Dynamo NR and four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Dynamo NR have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Tsmoki-Minsk and Piestanske C.
