The game between tenth ranked Beer Sheva (6-9) and 8th ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (6-10) in Beer Sheva on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Beer Sheva outscored guests from Tel-Aviv 103-76. Beer Sheva forced 19 Hapoel Tel-Aviv turnovers and outrebounded them 35-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) came up with 32 points and 5 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and international Tomer Ginat (202-94) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Beer Sheva moved-up to eighth place. Loser Hapoel Tel-Aviv dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Nahariya. Beer Sheva will meet Ironi Nahariya (#9) on the road in the next round.
